Apply the method edatlanta posted. You tin also utilize a h2o hose to dorsum launder that rubber boot to force the lint ball back into the pulsate, and so do the cycle again. I used to add a cup of vinegar to the drum before starting the bicycle. The procedure volition add a lot of water to the drum, then slosh it around. The idea is to break upwardly that lint ball in the rubber boot. In one case I figured out what was supposed to happen I was able to keep mine lint free without having to pull the unit out of the closet to clean that rubber boot.
The only PROPER manner to remove lint is to pull the washer! If you lot saw what I pulled out of both the vent hose AND the rubber boot between the dorsum side and the drum you lot would agree 100%.
Also, the hoses on the behind are no unlike that the ones in your home. They should be replaced at least every 5 years.

Yep, been in that location, washed that. If neglected for a long time it tin can get nasty. In the early years we discovered that when the clothes took besides long to dry it was time to clean the unit. But pulling the unit, taking the meridian off, removing that rubber boot and cleaning everything was a pain. Then to eliminate that problem we started cleaning ours once a month using the Splendide recommended method (and adding vinegar) and never again had to pull the machine out to clean that rubber boot.
